The Royal was slowly formed over many shows. An alliance emerged between Kouki and CHIAKI after CHIAKI’s attempt to join BEASTZ REBELLION was denied, with Kouki consoling CHIAKI. Kouki had also been teaming with Chika Goto, and the two hit it off instantly, and being the two tallest AWG members, they were a formidable team. Natsumi Sumikawa is absolutely magnetic, and caught everyone in her orbit, eager to team with her. For a couple of months it was a loose alliance between the four, but on January 29th, they made it official, Natsumi Sumikawa, Kouki, CHIAKI, and Chika Goto had officially formed The Royal. However, in March at Korakuen Hall, CHIAKI betrayed The Royal and finally joined BEASTZ REBELLION. The Royal were not down a member for long as on April 1st, Natsuki became the Summer Fighter of The Royal. With the departure of Sumikawa, Kouki, and Goto, Natsuki would be the only remaining member of The Royal, and the unit was quietly retired. Occasionally, Sumikawa, Kouki, Goto, and CHIAKI team up in Marigold.
