Taofasyue (Kakko Kari) are a unit in ARG with a Chinese motif. The unit’s origin story comes from the stuffed panda toy, Pancai (Asako Mia), coming to life and convincing Ling Ling (Ayano Irie) to chase the three sacred treasures in order to become a magical girl.
(in earlier versions of this page, as well as the early performances involving the group, they were occasionally referred to as “Momokasetsu” – but as of Osaka Comic Con, it’s been exclusively “Taofasyue”!)

Ling Ling is a 17 year old student at Kumoneko Academy. One day, her stuffed panda toy, Pancai, comes to life and tells her to chase the three sacred treasures.
Note: the most “direct” translation of this character’s name (リンリン) is “Rin Rin”. In recent material released by AWG/ARG, she is referred to as Ling Ling, and It’s audibly “Ling Ling” at Osaka Comic-Con. (I have an autograph from March 2023 signed, in English, by “Rin Rin” – so wanted to make a note of this clarification)
